Research

The Clinical Computational Neuroimaging group focuses on the development of quantitative neuroimaging biomarkers to improve the diagnoses, prognoses, management, and ultimately outcomes of people with brain injury as a result of stroke, cardiac arrest or trauma. We use state-of-the-art imaging acquisition and image processing techniques and advanced data analytics approaches including machine learning to create quantitative biomarkers that can be used to monitor disease progression or recovery. We use imaging to develop treatment options for patients for whom currently none exist. Selected examples of some of our research are presented here. More details can be found on our Publications page.
